At HIT Training, we’re on a mission to transform lives through exceptional apprenticeship programmes. We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Apprenticeship Development Coach (Quality Assurer) to support the growth and performance of our Vocational Trainers. This is a remote-based role with regular travel in the Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset region (3-4 days per week), focused on enhancing the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and engaging apprenticeship programmes across hospitality, chef, adult care, and early years.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coach and Develop Vocational Trainers
  • Deliver face-to-face and remote coaching, mentoring, and teaching support
  • Identify trainer development needs and build tailored training plans
  • Support trainers through structured induction, CPD, and qualifications (e.g. TAQA, Learning and Skills Mentor)
  • Conduct regular teaching observations, giving actionable feedback to improve learner outcomes
  • Drive Quality and Compliance
  • Champion continuous improvement aligned with the Education Inspection Framework
  • Use quality assurance tools (e.g. e-portfolios, learner data) to identify gaps and underperformance
  • Work closely with Area Managers and other departments to ensure delivery consistency
  • Maximise Learning Impact
  • Design and run upskilling workshops, coaching interventions, and risk-based training sessions
  • Collaborate with employers during site visits to monitor the quality of apprenticeship delivery
  • Keep up to date with sector trends and innovation in digital and in-person learning strategies

About You:

  • Experience in apprenticeship delivery or quality assurance in hospitality, chef, adult care, or early years
  • A teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (e.g. AET or equivalent)
  • Ideally a Level 4 TAQA qualification (or willingness to work towards - we’ll support you!)
  • Coaching and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing others
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Located to travel regularly across Dorset, Wiltshire, and Somerset
