At HIT Training, we’re on a mission to transform lives through exceptional apprenticeship programmes. We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Apprenticeship Development Coach (Quality Assurer) to support the growth and performance of our Vocational Trainers. This is a remote-based role with regular travel in the Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset region (3-4 days per week), focused on enhancing the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and engaging apprenticeship programmes across hospitality, chef, adult care, and early years.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coach and Develop Vocational Trainers
- Deliver face-to-face and remote coaching, mentoring, and teaching support
- Identify trainer development needs and build tailored training plans
- Support trainers through structured induction, CPD, and qualifications (e.g. TAQA, Learning and Skills Mentor)
- Conduct regular teaching observations, giving actionable feedback to improve learner outcomes
- Drive Quality and Compliance
- Champion continuous improvement aligned with the Education Inspection Framework
- Use quality assurance tools (e.g. e-portfolios, learner data) to identify gaps and underperformance
- Work closely with Area Managers and other departments to ensure delivery consistency
- Maximise Learning Impact
- Design and run upskilling workshops, coaching interventions, and risk-based training sessions
- Collaborate with employers during site visits to monitor the quality of apprenticeship delivery
- Keep up to date with sector trends and innovation in digital and in-person learning strategies
About You:
- Experience in apprenticeship delivery or quality assurance in hospitality, chef, adult care, or early years
- A teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (e.g. AET or equivalent)
- Ideally a Level 4 TAQA qualification (or willingness to work towards - we’ll support you!)
- Coaching and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing others
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Located to travel regularly across Dorset, Wiltshire, and Somerset
