We are currently recruiting for a Sommelier to join the Peter Street Kitchen restaurant team at The Edwardian Manchester, A Radisson Collection Hotel.

Overview:

• Work alongside the restaurant team to deliver exceptional service, using in-depth knowledge of food and beverage menus to guide guest wine pairings.
• Maintain and source wines for the wine menu to match the restaurant\’s offerings and business needs.
• Train and develop Junior Sommeliers and restaurant staff through tastings and training sessions.
• Oversee restaurant beverage service and manage the Junior Sommelier team to ensure excellence in all aspects of beverage service.

About You:

• Extensive knowledge of New and Old-World wines and current market trends.
• Understanding of the strategic positioning of the hotel, restaurant, and company within the competitive market.
• High level of hotel product and service knowledge.
• Excellent business communication skills.
• Attention to detail in service and restaurant operations.
• Strong leadership qualities, ambition, and a desire to create a lively and engaging atmosphere.
