Role Description

This is a part-time summer on-site role for an English Second Language Tutor located in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The English Second Language Tutor will be responsible for preparing and delivering English language lessons, assessing students\’ language abilities, developing instructional materials, and providing feedback and support to students. The tutor will work closely with students to help them improve their English language skills, both written and spoken.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language
• Proficiency in developing course materials and curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a classroom and engage students effectively
• Level 5 TEFL or CELTA qualification
• Previous experience working with non-native English speakers
• Enhanced DBS
