The trust is focused on delivering high-quality patient care and improving health outcomes in the local community.Pay Mechanism : Direct Pay MechanismPay Rates : £23 – £25 per hourKey Responsibilities Conduct advanced diagnostic tests and analyses in a clinical laboratory setting.Interpret and report results with accuracy and precision.Ensure adherence to quality control and quality assurance protocols.Collaborate with medical and healthcare professionals to support patient care.Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures as required.Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff and trainees.Uphold and implement laboratory safety standards and practices.Essential Requirements Qualification: Degree in Biomedical Science or related field; HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.Experience: Proven recent experience of at least 1 year in NHS setup in a similar role within a clinical or hospital laboratory.Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge: In-depth understanding of laboratory techniques and procedures.Personal Attributes: High level of attention to detail; excellent communication skills; ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.Desirable Attributes Additional qualifications or training in specialized areas of biomedical science.Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
