Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations & Compliance
    • Provide expert advice on employee relations matters (e.g., disciplinary, grievance, absence management) in line with UK/Irish employment law and company policy.
    • Ensure all HR practices are legally compliant.
    • Manage internal investigations and liaise with legal counsel when necessary.
    • Mediating conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and grievance handling.
  • Employee Engagement
    • Support onboarding and induction processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.
    • Work with managers on employee development, coaching, and performance improvement plans.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to manager and employees offering coaching and guidance.
    • Foster a positive work culture through engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms.
    • Advocate for employees.
  • HR Operations
    • Support cyclical HR processes such as appraisals, pay reviews, and engagement surveys.
    • Monitor and report on key HR metrics and trends.
    • Lead or contribute to UK-specific and EMEA-wide HR projects (e.g., DEI, wellbeing, hybrid working).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an international or matrixed organization.
  • Solid understanding of UK and Irish employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Broader European experience would be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and consulting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and balance responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
