About the person we support:
We have 1 fabulous lady in her 40s who enjoys swimming, sensory activities, going out for food, listening to music and going for walks. She has profound multiple learning disabilities, epilepsy, limited mobility, experience behaviours of distress and is supported to live as independently as she can within her supported living home. She has her own cars that Support Workers drive so itβs essential that you have a full UK driving licence.
What will I be doing?
- You will be supporting her to live their lives how they choose, to be themselves, and to achieve their goals.
- You will be supporting with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
- You will be assisting with their mobility, so youβll receive moving, handling and hoist training.
What shifts are available?
- Day shifts: 8am β 8:30pm (additional shorter shifts available on weekdays)
- Waking nights shifts: 7:30pm β 8am
- Flexibility to work a combination of weekdays & weekends required.
- Rotas are provided 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
