Are you an experienced pensions professional looking to step into a project-led role? We’re seeking a Pensions Lead to join a dedicated team specialising in defined benefit pension scheme events and projects. In this role, you will take ownership of key client activities, ensuring complex data processes are managed with precision, quality, and care. You'll play a central part in delivering cyclical scheme events, such as annual pension increases, benefit statements, and data rectification exercises, while also supporting larger client initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working as a Senior Pensions Technician or in a similar role, who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and leading delivery from start to finish.

What you’ll do:
- Lead and manage scheme events and projects, delivering to defined timescales and quality standards.
- Review and guide the work of Pensions Data Technicians, offering feedback and technical support.
- Maintain scheme event calendars and communicate progress with internal teams and external clients.
- Perform and specify complex data transformations, calculations, and imports using Excel and pensions administration tools.
- Act as a subject matter expert on projects and process improvements.
- Identify and report risks, supporting compliance and governance best practices.
What experience you will have:
- Strong technical knowledge of defined benefit (DB) pensions.
- Previous experience delivering scheme events or pensions projects.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, conditional formulas, and data formatting.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
