We are seeking a highly experienced, knowledgeable and professional HR Adviser to provide timely and effective HR support, advice and guidance across our South-East London Cluster of secondary schools: Bacon's College, The John Roan School, Sedgehill Academy and Conisborough College. Working closely with HR Assistants, the HR Manager, the Executive Business Manager, Principals and the HR Business Partner, you will deliver a consistent, compliant and high-quality HR service aligned with our policies and procedures.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your HR expertise to help and attention to detail to strengthen and enhance our HR provision across the Cluster.

About You

  • While experience in the education sector is advantageous, it is not essential.
  • You will be a proactive, organised and resilient professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • You will be a self-motivated HR professional with proven HR experience.
  • An excellent communicator, able to build strong relationships and foster teamwork.
  • Confident in advising, coaching and guiding colleagues on HR matters.
  • Strongly knowledgeable in HR best practice and a strong understanding of employment law.
  • Experienced in managing HR services across multiple sites or similar settings.
  • Proficient in IT systems and HR platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a commitment to high standards.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for supporting education.
