Salary: £27,885 - £42,921 per annum (£12.61 - £19.42 per hour) + Overtime at x1.5 (£18.92 - £29.13 per hour)
Salary is dependent on experience; for the starting level, we would be looking for a minimum of 6 months experience and to achieve the top salary, we are looking for a fully qualified & experienced engineer.
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday + 2 Saturdays per month (4.5 hours) paid at overtime rates. Standard working hours are 8am – 5pm; however, starting times can be as early as 5am for access to customer sites.
Provided: Fully equipped company van, product training.
We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to cover the South of England area for a busy, established family-run business. You will be working with a team of 4 Field Service Engineers to undertake scheduled services & repairs along with responding to breakdowns of plant equipment on clients' premises around the south of England.
We are looking for either someone who has mechanical experience looking to develop their career in field service or those who currently have this experience undertaking mechanical servicing and repair.
Key duties:
- Undertake servicing & repair work to plant equipment
- Carrying out mechanical, hydraulics repairs to plant equipment, this will include some basic electrical
- Attending to breakdowns as required
Requirements needed for the role:
- Previous experience of working as a Mechanic, Industrial Engineer, Service Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Agricultural Engineer, Plant Fitter or Mobile Service Engineer or similar.
- Experience of:
- Hydraulics
- Mechanics
- Basic electrical – Training will be provided
