Design Technology Cover Supervisor

A Design Technology Cover Supervisor is required for a secondary school in the Newcastle area which we are working with as a company. You will cover Design Technology lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 pupils. It would also require some general cover across the school. The successful candidate would also need to have a background in teaching/ covering sessions in Resistant Materials. This long term, full time role will be starting in September and be potentially for one year for the right candidate. This secondary school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

The ideal Design Technology Cover Supervisor candidate would:

We are keen to hear from both experienced Design Technology Teachers or ECTs. We would also be keen to hear from candidates who have worked previously as DT Technicians or someone who has worked in industry in Product Design.

In addition, you must:

• Provide two referees we can contact

• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one

Please note that the rate of pay will be dependent on where you are on the National Teacher Pay scales and the level of experience that you have to date.
