About the role:
- Safely transport and deliver mail to residential and commercial addresses on a designated route.
- Sort mail for your route and ensure timely deliveries in accordance with Royal Mail procedures.
- Use handheld devices to track and confirm deliveries and collections.
- Ensure all parcels and letters are delivered in good condition and handle any delivery issues in line with company policies.
- Follow all road safety and traffic laws, as well as Royal Mail guidelines and standards.
Requirements:
- Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Ability to pass a background DBS check and DVLA licence check.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in delivery or driving roles.
- Familiarity with local routes and streets.
Location: Stafford
Shifts: Monday-Sunday 8:00am till 3:30pm (Work 5 days out of 7)
Hourly Rate: £13.37 ph
