For almost 70 years, Abbeyfield Living Society has been a leading provider of housing and care for older people across England. What We’re Looking For:

  • Confidence in cooking for up to 11 people
  • Strong organizational skills, ready to handle a variety of tasks
  • Excellent customer service skills with a genuine understanding of the needs of older people
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook and Excel experience is a plus, but full training will be provided)

About the Role:

At Abbeyfield, our goal is to create a warm, community-focused environment where residents feel valued and respected. As a Cook and Resident Support team member, you’ll ensure that residents enjoy wholesome, home-cooked meals while also being a friendly face they can turn to for support. You’ll also assist with general wellbeing, handle any issues that arise, and escalate them when needed. Basic computer and budget management skills are helpful, but full support and training will be provided by our welcoming team.
