Are you a compassionate and driven nurse leader looking for your next challenge in care home management? We're seeking a dedicated Deputy Clinical Manager to support the day-to-day delivery of outstanding care in a well-regarded care setting that provides both nursing and dementia services.

As the Deputy Clinical Manager, you'll work alongside the Home Manager to ensure the smooth running of the service, taking a hands-on approach to clinical oversight, team leadership, and compliance with care standards. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, welcoming environment where residents feel valued and supported.

What You'll Be Doing as the Deputy Clinical Manager:

  • Supporting the Home Manager in delivering clinical excellence and person-centred care.
  • Leading and supervising care teams to ensure high standards of service.
  • Creating and managing rotas to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, and professionals.
  • Monitoring care plans and adapting them in line with changing needs.
  • Stepping in to manage the service during the Manager's absence.
  • Taking part in audits, care reviews, and quality assurance processes.
  • Providing clinical support on the floor as needed (day and/or night shifts).

What We're Looking For in the Deputy Clinical Manager:

  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior Team Leader in a care environment.
  • A valid nursing qualification (RGN/RMN) with active NMC registration.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (NVQ Level 5 is a strong advantage or willingness to work towards it).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting individuals living with dementia.
  • A passion for empowering staff and improving resident outcomes.
