Lincat manufactures products for cooking, holding, and food display, supplied to commercial kitchens worldwide through a network of distributors. Lincat is part of the Middleby Corporation. We seek an Export Sales Manager to join our sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales, growth, and profit of the Lincat portfolio in overseas markets, developing and implementing export strategies, and training Middleby sales staff and distributors worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement export sales strategies to achieve growth targets.
- Manage sales and profits in overseas markets, ensuring targets are met.
- Train and motivate sales staff and distributors about our products.
- Appoint and support agents and distributors, negotiating agreements that meet company and partner needs.
- Research new markets and prepare proposals for the Sales Director.
- Report on market conditions, competitors, and opportunities regularly.
- Plan and undertake overseas visits, producing reports on activities.
- Attend international exhibitions to stay updated and promote products.
- Maintain CRM records accurately, including visit reports and contacts.
Export Marketing
- Create content for international newsletters and distribute regularly.
- Update the export section of the company website with relevant material.
- Organize and evaluate overseas exhibitions.
Essential Skills
- Experience in dealer network sales and relationship management.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong numeracy skills for working with exchange rates and statistics.
- Good business acumen and professional conduct.
- Ability to build relationships across organizational levels and cultural awareness.
- Effective time management and planning skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- French language skills are preferred but not essential.
Experience and Knowledge
- 3-5 yearsβ experience in export territory management preferred.

Other Requirements
- Frequent overseas travel, sometimes at short notice, up to 4 months per year.
- UK travel with a valid driving license.
- Achievement of CFSP certification expected.
