Domestic Gas Engineer Service & Breakdowns Package Overview:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Monday to Friday (40 hours)

Our client, a small but reputable heating & plumbing firm, is currently looking for a Domestic gas engineer to join their highly valued team on a full-time permanent basis. The main focus of this role will be to carry out service, repair and maintenance work on Domestic Boilers. This company recognises the importance of a good work-life balance and takes an organised approach to work allocation. You will be given support, training and the correct tools to carry out your role efficiently. Current ACS qualifications are essential for this role. LPG and OFTEC tickets would be advantageous.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Boiler repairs and fault finding
  • Boiler servicing
  • Landlord gas safety checks
  • Emergency water/gas leak repairs
  • Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered on-site
  • Ensure the company meets its obligations and adheres to guidelines and regulations
  • Work closely with other engineers and provide support and training to more junior members of the team

Skills and Experience:

  • A full UK driving licence or equivalent (Essential)
  • A drive and enthusiasm to grab hold of opportunities
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Domestic gas engineer
  • Valid domestic ACS (Essential)
  • A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate is a must.
