Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Wheel & Brake Technician based in Gatwick. The Wheel & Brake Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft wheel and brake components. Daily tasks include inspecting, disassembling, cleaning, repairing, and reassembling components according to manufacturer specifications and aviation regulations. Additionally, the technician will troubleshoot issues, maintain detailed records, and ensure all operations comply with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) of aircraft components
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and standards
• Skills in disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and reassembling aircraft wheel and brake components
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and solving technical issues
• Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience working in FAA and EASA Part 145 approved workshops is a plus
• Relevant technical certifications or an associate degree in an aviation-related field
