Bid & Tender Management
- Manage the full bid lifecycle, including PQQs, ITTs, and framework submissions.
- Coordinate information from internal teams (commercial, technical, production) and ensure timely submissions.
- Interpret specifications and tender documents to produce accurate and persuasive bid responses.
- Review tender opportunities and assess their suitability based on scope, value, and strategic alignment.
Document Preparation & Writing
- Draft and edit high-quality written responses tailored to client specifications.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand the business and prepare bids that reflect the business’ offering to the market
- Create and manage the bid submission documents, ensuring they are formatted and presented to a high standard.
Commercial Awareness
- Liaise with the estimating team to ensure pricing is aligned with the proposed solution and client expectations.
- Contribute to pricing strategy and risk analysis on high-value bids.
- Work with directors to shape value-engineered solutions that balance performance and cost.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with clients during the bid process to clarify requirements and build relationships.
- Attend pre-tender meetings, site visits, and client interviews as required.
- Ensure client feedback on submitted bids is captured and acted upon.
Process & Performance Improvement
- Develop and maintain a library of bid content, case studies, CVs, and technical documents.
- Track bid success rates and lessons learned, reporting KPIs to leadership.
- Champion continuous improvement in bid processes and document quality.
