Role: Service Desk L2 Engineer (2 roles) Contract to hire This is an ONSITE role in Plymouth, MA Job Description: 6+ years of Phone support experience (Mandatory) 6+ years of Windows Technical Service Desk experience Level 3 expertise knowledge in Windows 10, Windows 11 Knowledge in Windows buildout and familiarity with: Windows, AD, Avamar, VMWare, Citrix, Exchange, SCCM, SCOM, etc. Experience with ITSM ticketing tools such as Ivanti, ServiceNow, etc. Responsibilities include: User password resets, account unlocks, and creation for Active Directory, Horizon, and business applications Remote desktop connectivity applications and Windows endpoint support MS Office Suite and application support Web application and VPN knowledge Provisioning user accounts and managing incidents using the Incident Management System Responding to calls, emails, chats; creating tickets; and following up until resolution Diagnosing problems through discussions, logs, research, and resolution steps Providing remote desktop support and installing desktop applications and software Experience with SCCM patch deployments and SCOM monitoring tools Knowledge of scripting Additional skills and responsibilities include: Supporting laptops, desktops, and printers Hardware/software/network problem diagnosis and resolution Routing problems to internal support or vendors Hosting knowledge sharing sessions, mentoring junior team members, and developing SOPs and knowledge base articles Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Contract Job function: Information Technology Industries: Software Development #J-18808-Ljbffr
