Are you an enthusiastic and inspiring Music Teacher who can ignite a love for music in young people? We are seeking a dedicated practitioner to join a creative arts department and help students find their voice—whether through performance, composition or appreciation of music from all cultures and genres. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Music Teacher:
- Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 if applicable).
- Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that build students’ musical knowledge, creativity, and confidence.
- Develop students’ practical skills in performance, composition and music technology.
- Support and lead musical enrichment activities such as choirs, bands, concerts or school productions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote the role of music within the wider school community.
Ideal Music Teacher:
- A qualified teacher (QTS) with a passion for music education.
- Strong subject knowledge across a range of musical styles and instruments.
