Location: Sizewell C, site-based 5 days a week in Leiston, Suffolk (occasional weekend work will be required) Contract: Permanent, full-time. What You’ll Be Doing: As a Construction Manager, you’ll oversee the reconstruction of a key section of the SZC works. You’ll lead the charge in ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery. From tactical logistics planning to stakeholder engagement, your role will encompass the entire construction lifecycle, including: Team Leadership: Strategic execution: You will help the PM develop and implement detailed construction strategies and plans. Project Oversight: To deliver new projects into the Sizewell C project with safety and quality at the forefront of our works. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with contractors, regulators, and government bodies to ensure project success. Continuous Improvement: Driving innovation and embedding lessons learned to ensure world-class project delivery. Good knowledge of CDM Regulations and a proven track record of their implementation are required. What We’re Looking For: We need a proven leader with a strong track record of delivering large, technically complex construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring: Industry expertise: Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, on projects, and working within regulated environments. Management skills: Supervising Tier 1 contractors and team members. Leadership capabilities: Ability to inspire teams, resolve complex issues, and foster collaboration. Technical knowledge: Familiarity with construction methodologies, CDM Regulations, and earned value management tools. Strong communication: Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
