Student Resident Assistant Role

Join our social network and become a Student Resident Assistant for the 2023-2024 academic year. We have 8 roles available across our Halls at Beechcroft and Duke Street.

Who We Are Looking For

• Current students and residents of our Halls.
• Individuals interested in supporting fellow residents and ensuring safety.

Role Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for residents out of hours.
• Assist with arrivals, departures, and organise social and wellbeing events.
• Undertake out-of-hours administration to ensure smooth residence operations.

Qualifications and Expectations

• Ability to take responsibility, handle situations confidently, and know when to escalate.
• Impartiality and sensitivity to student needs.
• Must be a current resident and willing to live in the halls for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Support and Training

You will receive full support from the University Student Support Team, participate in meetings, and undergo training in Fire Regulations, Health & Safety, mental health, and emergency first aid.

Additional Information

This is a live-in role; the Student Resident Assistant will need to live in and pay rent at either Beechcroft or Duke Street Riverside, depending on the role location.
