Due to an increase in workload, Loomis UK is seeking Delivery Drivers (also known internally as Driver Guards) at its Maidstone branch. We value your team, positive attitude and desire to learn and succeed.

Position Overview

As a Driver Guard you will be responsible for the safe handling and transportation of customer and company goods, maintain excellent customer service, perform vehicle checks, adhere to safety protocols, and represent our business professionally.

Pay

£14.06 per hour, rising to £15.06 per hour after probation, plus a London allowance of £1,725 per annum.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport cash and valuables in an armoured vehicle between clients and destinations.
• Ensure high standards of service, safety, and punctuality.
• Perform vehicle checks before each journey.
• Represent the company with professionalism and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Adapt to flexible working hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Gather and maintain accurate travel and vehicle logs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Dependable, punctual, and strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, weekends and bank holidays.
• Pass criminal record, personal credit and ID checks.
• Verifiable 10-year employment/unemployment/educational history.
• Current UK driving licence.
• Approved to attain an SIA licence; existing licence qualifies for post-probation rate and £1,000 bonus.
