Description Bolton & Menk is growing and we have an exciting opportunity for an Aviation Engineer/ Project Manager to join our team in serving our Midwest region clients! This position could be located out of any of our Twin Cities metro office locations. What You Will Be Doing: As an Aviation Engineer you will lead and manage the design and construction management for airport projects including extension and reconstruction of runways, taxiways and aprons; fuel systems; vertical infrastructure including hangars and AD buildings; NAVAIDS; etc. You will manage budgets and schedules for assigned airport projects as well as assist with marketing of future clients. In this role you will also serve as a client contact to airport boards at airport clients as assigned. Responsible for the management planning, scheduling and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel, both design and construction Serves as a client contact to airport boards/commissions and airport clients as assigned Reviews and/or prepares preliminary reports and feasibility studies Performs business development activities (client needs, research, proposals, etc.) Coordinates construction administration and monitors documentation requirements with field staff Assists with the training and development of professional and technical staff Develops relationships with regulatory agencies Travels periodically to work sites and other project related location What We Are Looking For: Bachelor\’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university Licensed Professional Engineer 5+ years\’ progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including experience working with airport infrastructure Experience with client relationship management and business development Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration Salary Range: $115,000 – $155,000 depending on years of experience and credentials Bolton & Menk is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant\’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to specific geographic location.
