The Role The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, strong teamwork ethic, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. The role requires meeting deadlines and responding to daily requests from the accounts manager and procurement manager. Main Duties Maintain Purchase Ledger Process supplier payments Raise sales invoices Remind customers to make timely payments Identify and resolve discrepancies in documentation Update internal spreadsheets Reconcile bank and credit card transactions Support the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties Enter journals Assist and support the Procurement and Finance Managers as required Skills Accounts experience Knowledge of VAT treatment SAGE 50 experience beneficial Strong IT skills Attention to detail and ability to prioritize Ability to work independently and as part of a team, creating deadlines and managing workload Benefits Salary GBP 28,000 to GBP 30,000 21 days holiday plus 8 statutory bank holidays, with an additional day per year of service 3% company pension contributions Bike2Work scheme Casual dress code Onsite parking Flexible working arrangements where required If you\’re interested in the Accounts Assistant role, please contact Deb at [contact details].
