This is a permanent, part-time vacancy that will close in 9 days at 09:00 BST.

The Vacancy Start: September 2025

Due to establishment requirements, we are seeking a number of Teaching Assistants to join our school. St. Hugh's School is a well-resourced, purpose-built school for students aged 11 to 16 years with moderate/severe learning difficulties/profound and multiple learning needs, many of whom have additional needs, ASD and complex medical needs.

Main responsibilities will be to assist in developing pupils’ learning, personal self-care skills, and in managing pupils’ behaviour, under the close direction of the teacher or other senior member of staff.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students, and thorough safeguarding checks will be conducted. The safeguarding responsibilities of this post are outlined in the job description and person specification.

Please note that guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education requires us to carry out an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
