Introduction

ArcelorMittal South Africa is looking to recruit Electrical Technicians responsible for providing specialist support and managing the following functional areas:

• Electrical distribution network – 11KV; 3.3KV, 525V; 380V – including transformers, panels, breakers, protection equipment, metering and cabling
• Electrical motors and controls
• Gas area installations
• Liaison with Eskom
• Responsible for SHERQ, work related
• Perform after hours standby duty

Qualification:

• National Diploma (NQF 6/10) in Electrical Engineering

Experience and Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a maintenance environment
• Valid driver’s license
• Own reliable transport to attend to after-hour breakdowns
• Computer literate and have experience in MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word and SAP
