Highways Operative

Taylor Woodrow is recruiting for a Traffic Management Operative to join our South West region in the South West. Based out of our offices in Exeter, the Traffic Management Operative will be responsible for installing and maintaining a range of traffic management solutions across our highways civils projects.

Duties

1. Install and oversee traffic management equipment as requested by the site teams. These will include diversions, stop/go boards, walkways, road closures and portable road signs.
2. Ensure all work is carried out in line with company health and safety standards.
3. Carry out daily checks on traffic management equipment and report any defaults in a timely manner.
4. Attend regular training on new traffic management to ensure you are up to date with standards and to allow us to enhance the safety, efficiency and quality delivered by our teams.
5. Provide excellent customer service to our clients at all times.

Person Specification

1. Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
2. Able to drive a 3.5 ton vehicle and tow trailer.
3. An understanding of the importance of Health, Safety and Quality within construction.
