Are you a press officer looking for your next opportunity to work in book PR? Carver PR are looking for a publicist to join their new and thriving books division. The role will be responsible for delivering high impact PR campaigns for a variety of clients, across non-fiction and fiction.
Key responsibilities:
- Independently plan and implement campaigns that deliver on all available PR opportunities, covering traditional and non-traditional media, and including print, broadcast, online and events.
- Work closely with clients, maintaining communication throughout campaigns and provide a high level of author and agent care at all times.
- Develop and maintain relationships with journalists and producers.
- Respond to journalist requests efficiently.
- Showcase keen knowledge of the book industry.
- Communicate and work collaboratively with colleagues in the Carver PR office.
- Occasionally attend and manage events.
- Accompany clients to media appearances.
- Maintain high standards of presentation and attention to details.
- From time to time attend new business meetings with Head of Books.
