Location: London Are you a press officer looking for your next opportunity to work in book PR? Carver PR are looking for a publicist to join their new and thriving books division. The role will be responsible for delivering high impact PR campaigns for a variety of clients, across non-fiction and fiction. Key responsibilities: Independently plan and implement campaigns that deliver on all available PR opportunities, covering traditional and non-traditional media, and including print, broadcast, online and events Work closely with clients, maintaining communication throughout campaigns and provide a high level of author and agent care at all times Develop and maintain relationships with journalists and producers Respond to journalist requests efficiently Showcase keen knowledge of the book industry Communicate and work collaboratively with colleagues in the Carver PR office Occasionally attend and manage events Accompany clients to media appearances Maintain high standards of presentation and attention to details From time to time attend new business meetings with Head of Books Person specification: An in-depth knowledge of the UK books landscape Great contacts with journalists and producers Copywriting and pitching skills 3+ years’ publicity experience, preferably with demonstrable non-fiction experience Resilient and confident in managing multiple projects, prioritising time effectively #J-18808-Ljbffr
