Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh West is a 160-bedroom hotel situated on the leafy Heriot-Watt University campus, featuring a state-of-the-art lobby and \’The Avenue\’ at its center. The hotel is managed by Lighthouse Hotel Management, the operational arm of the Molo Hotel Group.

Job Description:

As a Food and Beverage Team Member, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the highest quality of service and providing an exceptional experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Guest Engagement: Greet each guest warmly, promote our brand and service, anticipate guest needs, and ensure an exceptional experience throughout the bar, restaurant, and meeting areas.
• Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen, reception, and reservations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences and foster a harmonious work environment.
• Compliance: Follow legislation and hotel policies regarding food safety, hygiene, and allergens, minimizing risks and catering to all dietary needs.

Requirements:

• A positive \”can-do\” attitude.
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest service with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as the hotel operates 24/7.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written; additional languages are a bonus.
