Nursery Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and flexible Nursery Teaching Assistant to join an early years team on a short-term basis. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with young children and can adapt quickly to a supportive, nurturing environment. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Nursery Teaching Assistant:

1. Support the day-to-day activities and routines in the nursery
2. Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for children aged 2–4
3. Provide individual and small group support as needed
4. Support children with their personal care and early development needs
5. Work closely with nursery staff to ensure consistency and high standards of care

Ideal Nursery Teaching Assistant:

1. Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
2. A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent) is desirable
3. A warm, patient, and friendly approach
4. Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to step in as needed
5. Strong communication and teamwork skills as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.
