Our client, a $4.5bn alternative investment manager, is seeking an experienced operations / middle office professional with 2-5 years' experience from a Hedge Fund background. The role involves managing all aspects of post-trade activities, including trade matching, capture, daily operations, and treasury services. Experience with Advent Geneva, Neovest, Enfusion, Traiana, or CTM systems is advantageous.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing operational support in the London time zone for US, APAC, and EMEA long/short equity and credit strategies.
- Collaborating with the European Head of Operations, management team, and Fund Administrators on daily, monthly, and annual operations, tax and accounting, onboarding, and infrastructure projects.
- Supporting trade capture and NAV/P&L validation, monitoring cash and position reconciliations.
- Monitoring corporate actions, dividends, and trade settlements.
- Assisting investment and risk teams, responding to queries, and providing accurate risk/P&L data.
- Communicating with portfolio management teams to ensure timely and accurate trade data delivery.
- Tracking and analyzing margin and financing requirements, communicating discrepancies.
- Reviewing and signing off on monthly accounting packages and fee calculations.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years' experience in Hedge Fund operations/middle office, including corporate actions.
- Experience in system/process/procedural improvements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, custom databases, OMS/PMS/NAV systems such as Advent Geneva, Neovest, Enfusion, Traiana, CTM.
- VBA or programming skills are a plus.
- Professionalism in client, investor, and colleague interactions.
- Team-oriented, enthusiastic, and adaptable.
