Summary: The Interventional Radiology Technologist role is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in routine diagnostic and complex invasive neuro and peripheral interventions. The technologist must be competent in procedures across various specialties including oncology, trauma, urology, gastroenterology, and nephrology. Follow established protocols and guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Education: Completion of a two-year program at an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology is required.
  • License/Certifications: Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist in Maine and certified in Radiography by the ARRT are required. Current BLS certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience: At least two years of acute care imaging technologist experience or one year of advanced modality imaging experience is required.
  • Additional Skills/Requirements: None specified.
