We are seeking a proactive HR Advisor to join our team and play a key role in supporting our organisation’s people strategy. This is a dynamic and varied role, requiring a hands-on approach to deliver a wide range of generalist HR activities, including employee relations, colleague engagement, induction processes, HR reporting, organisational restructures, and policy development.
Key Responsibilities- Employee Relations: Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes. Ensure compliance with UK employment law and organisational policies. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Colleague Engagement: Plan and implement engagement initiatives to enhance employee morale and satisfaction. Analyse engagement surveys and develop action plans to address feedback. Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organisation.
- Induction And Onboarding: Manage and continuously improve the induction programme to provide a welcoming and effective start for new hires. Partner with managers to ensure successful integration of new employees into teams.
- HR Reporting: Prepare and analyse HR metrics and reports to inform decision-making. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to turnover, absence, and engagement. Provide insights and recommendations to improve HR practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
- Experience working in a HR role / environment; CIPD is advantageous but qualifications can be provided for the right person.
- Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
