Job Summary

The Sports Instructor role is a hands-on position that leads athletes and provides expert instruction in their designated sport. It is directly responsible for delivering the i9 Sports Experience and fostering a positive youth sports culture on the field. Potential location openings include Lake Orion, Rochester Hills, Chesterfield, Shelby Township, Utica, West Bloomfield, Clarkston, Royal Oak.

Responsibilities

  • Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
  • Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values.
  • Communicate game day information to players and parents using established platforms.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge.
  • Highly motivated self-starter; able to work independently.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and some evenings (~7 weeks).
  • Must pass a National Criminal Background Check.
