We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global shipping and logistics company, committed to delivering seamless transportation and supply chain solutions to clients around the world. Based in Coventry, the local operations support a wide network of international services. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Administrator/Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a full-time, temporary ongoing basis.
Role Summary: The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our logistics department. This position focuses primarily on accurate data entry, ensuring that all shipment and logistical records are processed and maintained efficiently and in accordance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately input and update data related to shipments, deliveries, and inventory in internal systems
- Verify and cross-check information across various documents and databases
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure all records are accurate and up to date
- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
- Assist with producing reports and tracking documentation as required
- Support the administrative needs of the logistics team and management
- Handle incoming emails and calls related to shipment queries or documentation requests
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative or data entry role
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and data management systems
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
