Japanese Manufacturing Company is seeking an Assembly Operator.

Location: Cambridgeshire

Type: Permanent

Main Purpose of the job:

  • Electro-mechanical assembly
  • Final quality inspection
  • Accurate recording of data
  • Operating test systems
  • Quality Control as directed
  • Pick and packing of goods

Key Relationships:

  • Responsible to: Production Supervisor
  • Liaison With: Production Team

Key skills/experience required:

  • Good hand soldering skills are desirable; however, training will be given
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to follow assembly drawings and procedures is desirable; however, full training will be given
  • Flexible work ethic with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail, with a desire to maintain and improve quality standards
  • Basic PC literacy (training will be given)

Periodically, the job is physical and involves repetitive lifting. This is an essential part of the role.
