Day Concierge – Manchester
Hourly Rate: ÂŁ13
Contract: Permanent, 16 hours per week
Working Hours: 7am – 9pm (days will vary week to week; flexibility required)
About the role
Union CoLiving apartments provide a platform for young professionals. We’re expanding our Day Concierge team and looking for an experienced, customer‑focused professional to deliver a luxury, home‑from‑home experience for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Front of House / Reception: greet and welcome residents and guests with a warm, friendly, vibrant attitude.
- Manage room turn‑arounds, check‑ins and check‑outs.
- Be available to answer questions that may arise.
- Ensure residents and guests treat the facilities respectfully.
- Provide solutions to issues or challenges that may arise.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain the upkeep of premium site & facilities; keep communal areas cleaned to a high standard.
- Conduct block walks every 4–6 hours, surveying and reporting on every area of the building.
- Replenish refreshment stock such as coffee beans, tea bags, milk and vending machine products.
- Act as point of contact for potential incidents or emergencies onsite.
- Manage & store parcels correctly to allow residents easy access to deliveries.
- Maintain waste‑management areas in accordance with health & safety regulations, addressing hazards and keeping tidy.
Professional Experience & Qualifications
- Experienced customer‑service professional, delivering premium experiences to residents & guests.
- Previous concierge experience is an advantage.
- Hands‑on, proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety of communal areas.
- Technologically astute – comfortable with a variety of software and systems supporting operations.
