David Heating and Cooling Inc is urgently seeking a highly skilled and licensed HVAC Gas & Oil Service Technician to join our residential service team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who values continuing education and long-term career growth. You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing residential heating and cooling systems while engaging directly with homeowners. Our service techs are tech-savvy, communicative, and work alongside a seasoned team committed to excellence. Living within approximately 20 miles of Merrimac, for on-call purposes will be important.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on residential HVAC systems including gas furnaces & boilers, oil furnaces & boilers, heat pumps & air conditioning systems.
- Communicate with homeowners to explain system issues and proposed repairs.
- Utilize HVAC-related software and billing systems efficiently.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team of experienced technicians.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for nights and weekends.
- Drive responsibly with company-provided vehicles (must have clean driving record).
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on residential HVAC experience.
- Clean Driving Record and ability to pass a background check.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- A positive attitude and pride in your work.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must hold the following active licenses/certifications or be willing to obtain them: EPA Certification, NH Gas License, MA Oil License, MA or NH Plumbing License (strongly preferred).
