The Opportunity Our team ( www.arup.com/dyna ) supports Arup’s commitment to improving the world by developing market-leading tools that enable us and our clients to solve challenging engineering problems. Our Oasys LS-DYNA Environment software is used across automotive, nuclear, civil engineering, aerospace, seismic, geotechnical, structural, and product design sectors, primarily for vehicle crashworthiness modeling and testing. Join us in London or Birmingham to work on advanced engineering software, develop complex algorithms, and solve client problems. Responsibilities Collaborate in an agile environment to enhance our desktop applications: PRIMER, D3PLOT, T/HIS, and REPORTER. Write high-quality code in C, C++, Fortran, JavaScript, and Python. Design, code, automate tests, perform quality assurance, document features, and maintain code. Provide technical support to customers, addressing their queries and issues. Candidate Profile We’re looking for candidates with: A BA or MA in Engineering, Maths, Physics, or Computer Science (2.1 or above or equivalent). A strong background in mathematics. Experience in software development or engineering simulation. Knowledge of C or Fortran. A desire to combine technical skills with desktop software development.
