The Department of Nursing invites applications for online adjunct faculty positions for the CCNE accredited MSN program. Tracks in the MSN program include:

  • Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
  • Psych/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
  • Nurse Executive Leader
  • Nurse Educator

Timeline: The search will remain open indefinitely as needs vary semester to semester.

Primary Responsibilities: Faculty responsibilities will include teaching in online didactic courses. Courses run in 7-week sessions. Faculty may teach in the core MSN courses as well as the specialty courses within the MSN tracks based upon degree and experience.

Qualifications: Doctorate required. Teaching experience in nursing desirable. Experience related to specific tracks within the MSN program is necessary. Must possess a valid nursing license in the state of residence. A valid, unencumbered Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner license in the state of residence is required to teach in the nurse practitioner tracks. Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner applicants must be board-certified in their specialty area.

Any candidate who is offered this position will be required to undergo a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law.
