What will I be doing?

As a Leisure Team Member, you’ll play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our guests through engaging activities and excellent customer service. You will lead and support the team in delivering a wide range of leisure experiences, from adventurous activities to welcoming guests at reception. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Activity Hosting: Lead and coach the team in delivering a variety of daily activities such as rifle shooting, archery, and more ensuring they are fun, engaging, and safe for all guests.
  • Pool Supervision: Monitor the swimming area to ensure guest safety. You’ll execute rescue techniques when needed and provide first aid if necessary.
  • Guest Experience: Maintain a welcoming and fun atmosphere throughout all leisure areas. Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong guest relationships.
  • Reception Duties: Support the Reception Manager and Team Leaders to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the hotel reception. This includes checking in guests, handling enquiries, and assisting with day-to-day reception operations.
  • Safety & Education: Promote pool safety rules and educate guests on best practices to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

What skills do I need?

  • NPLQ qualification is essential to ensure the highest standards of pool safety.
  • National Pool Lifeguard qualification (RLSS) is a strong advantage but not essential – comprehensive training will be provided to support your development.
  • Work confidently and independently, taking pride in delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining exceptional cleanliness throughout the leisure department.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and inviting environment for both guests and team members by rigorously following the company’s Health and Safety Policy.
