Job Description

Camp Wediko is hiring temporary Clinical Supervisors at their Windsor, New Hampshire location. Situated on 450 lakefront acres, Camp Wediko is a six to eight-week residential summer camp serving youth aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges in summer 2025.

The Clinical Supervisor reports to the Clinical Manager and is responsible for leading, managing, and supervising their assigned cabin, including staff and students. They collaborate with guardians, residential staff, program leadership, family therapists, and outside providers to ensure optimal treatment and care for youth.

How You\’ll Be Making a Difference

  • Develop and implement individual and group treatment interventions using a trauma-informed approach.
  • Facilitate daily group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with guardians, family therapists, and outside providers on youth progress.
  • Conduct twice-weekly clinical supervision and provide coaching, support, and professional development for Residential Counselors and Lead Staff.
  • Complete performance reviews for staff in the same cabin group mid-summer and at summer\’s end.
  • Maintain consistency by following program policies and expectations.
  • Apply behavioral management and de-escalation strategies, including restraints, as trained.
  • Respond to emergencies per agency policies, reporting safety concerns to management.
  • Complete First Aid, CPR, and Medication Distribution Training.
  • Handle administrative duties, including documentation and discharge paperwork.
  • Participate in leadership and planning meetings.
  • Assist in planning and executing key program days like orientation, arrival, visitor\’s day, and departure.

Qualifications

  • Master\’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related field preferred.
  • Previous camp experience.
  • 1-3 years in residential or school settings.
  • Knowledge of tiered behavior support models like MTSS and PBIS.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative and supportive approach to challenges.
  • Adaptability to changing environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

Abilities Required

Ability to navigate rugged outdoor terrain and engage in active recreational activities in varied weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and rain. Physical capabilities include bending, holding, and lifting as per behavioral management techniques. Transportation to designated pick-up/drop-off locations is required, and participation in two weeks of pre- and post-camp training is mandatory.
