We are looking to recruit 2 Quantity Surveyors to join our Commercial team based in our West Midlands region. The successful candidate will have experience of surveying work in housebuilding or for a main contractor, associated procedures and practices including:
- Subcontract procurement
- Valuation of subcontractor payment applications
- Negotiation of final accounts
- Preparation of monthly cost reports
The candidate will be responsible for running a number of developments across the region working cohesively with the land, technical, construction and sales teams respectively. You will also assist in maintaining the region's portfolio house type cost database used for future land acquisitions. Experience of working for a house building organisation or the wider construction sector is essential. A recognised surveying qualification either HNC or HND would be desirable.
