Based in the outskirts of Belfast in Co Down, our busy engineering client is seeking applications for the post of Design Technician.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and draw components using Solidedge and AutoCAD
- Create CNC programs for various manufacturing processes
- Assist in design of special tooling if necessary for certain projects
- Ensuring all deadlines/schedules are met, in line with production & operations departments requirements
- Provide assistance to the sales team to provide technical backup and/or design drawings as required
- Any other design related work that may be required such as the development of new products
Criteria:
- Previous experience of AutoCAD within manufacturing / engineering environment
- 3D modelling experience is highly desirable
Salary is up to £30k depending upon experience. Applications are welcome from entry level applicants. Working hours are 9-5 with an early finish on Friday!
