First Bus has teamed up with FlixBus, the global leader in travel tech, and we are searching for experienced Coach Drivers to join our growing team in Taunton. You will have the chance to help launch exciting new FlixBus routes across the South-West of England. Your role will involve operating FlixBus services from our Taunton Depot, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth and safe journey for passengers. This exciting partnership will expand FlixBus' daily services across the South-West of England and open up brand-new routes to northern cities like Leeds, Manchester, and Newcastle – connecting even more cities and opening up exciting new routes!

The FlixBus routes officially launch in April 2025, but until then, you will have the option to start with us driving First Bus services, providing you with the chance to get fully familiar with our routes and operations. It is the ideal opportunity to sharpen your skills, build rapport with our team, and hit the ground running when the FlixBus routes kick off.

Join us as a qualified driver and earn Β£14.02 per hour. These are permanent, full-time positions, working 39 hours per week across a variety of shift patterns, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A valid PCV license.
  • Experience as a Coach Driver, HGV Driver, or Bus Driver with a passion for customer service.
  • A flexible, reliable attitude and the ability to adapt to changing schedules.
  • A commitment to safety and a professional approach to driving.
