Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week
We have a vacancy for mechanical inspectors with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience to work in our climate-controlled inspection lab. You will be responsible for measuring both un-machined and machined castings using CMM and hand-held measuring equipment, working to demanding aerospace standards.
Key responsibilities/experience will include:
- Experience in programming and operating CMM and similar measuring devices.
- Carry out final inspection, FAIR and in process inspections on castings.
- Understanding of CMM programming. QCT software would be advantageous.
Skills and qualifications:
- Experience in CMM operating/programming.
- Understand component drawings.
- Experience of working in the aerospace/defence sectors is desirable.
- Experience of working to ISO9001 /AS9100 quality approvals.

- Monday to Friday
- Alternating shift pattern of 1 week early (07:00 - 15:00) & 1 week late (15:00 - 23:00), or permanent lates.
