Responsible for delivering and leading all Social Media activity across our collection of hotels, wedding venues, bars, restaurants, spa and late night venues. It’s an extremely diverse role in a fast-paced environment, where every day is different. Manorview is a Scottish hospitality group formed in 2017. With 500+ strong people, we’re one team, with one goal – to make life better, through hospitality.
Having experienced consistent growth, we have a diverse portfolio of hospitality experiences – from a romantic Scottish castle, to a boutique sea-side hotel, and popular countryside spa hotel. As such, our Marketing department are kept busy; ensuring we deliver leads for our sales teams, drive conversions, generate brand awareness and attract footfall. The role is challenging but rewarding. Key Deliverables & Responsibilities:
- Be fully connected to our business so that you can accurately manage the social media marketing of our venues – this will mean understanding our guests, knowing what our data/reports are telling us about performance, and getting to grips with the challenges and problems our venues might face.
- Design and deliver creative and engaging social media strategies for our venues and marketing campaigns.
- Manage social media campaigns including planning, launching, and optimising social media campaigns to achieve specific goals.
- Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels and audiences, and in line with business needs.
- Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using appropriate scheduling tools.
- Create and manage content including writing posts and crafting compelling captions for images and videos.
- Analyse social media performance by tracking key metrics like engagement, reach, and website traffic to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
- Ensure brand consistency by maintaining a consistent voice, visual style, and tone across all social media platforms.
- Support with the paid media strategy working with our digital agency to optimise campaigns to improve and drive results, maximise ROI and meet business requirements.
- Collaboration with the marketing team to ensure that social media efforts align with overall marketing goals and messaging.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends by staying informed about new platforms, features, and best practices to ensure the brand remains relevant and competitive.
Experience, Qualification & Skills:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role which has involved planning and executing social media strategies and campaigns.
- Ideally a marketing qualification, though experience is more vital.
- A solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.
- The ability to work across multiple brands with varying brand styles, tone of voice and goals.
- Excellent copywriting skills and attention to detail, suitable for each platform, from knowing how to write engaging content to using effective storytelling techniques.
- Strong communication and people skills for articulating ideas to the marketing team and wider business.
- Creative thinking for contributing new and innovative ideas.
- Excellent teamworking, collaboration and networking skills, as well as the ability to work independently.
- Strong ability to plan and prioritise effectively – being able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- The ability to work reactively, and well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Skills in data analysis and interpreting statistics.
- Full driving license with use of your own car (as working in different locations is required).
