Position Summary The UKI Commercial Lead (CL) will have overall responsibility and oversight of UKI commercial activities. The CL will lead the development and implementation of the UKI commercial plan and provide commercial project management to deliver UKI commercial activities. The UKI CL will be the person responsible for country related commercial business matters including: Successful achievement of sales targets in collaboration with General Manager (GM) Management of related marketing activities, resources and materials, ensuring appropriate market positioning of the Amicus portfolio Collaboration with relevant stakeholders and support functions The UKI CL will provide operational management of the UKI Key Account Manager team and their activities. Roles And Responsibilities Development and implementation of UKI commercial plan for both brands including cross functional collaboration to ensure business strategy is executed optimally Lead key UKI commercial project implementation, including material and resource development and agency vendor management Develop, coordinate, prepare and execute Amicus owned commercial events as well as manage external congresses Development and localization of marketing materials and resources for Amicus brands. Collaborating closely with cross functional stakeholders (including global marketing) and local agencies Oversight and continuous tracking and analysis of national and regional sales performance, market share, market observation and competitor performance Support preparation of internal business and finance reviews Ensure operational effectiveness of the commercial customer facing team (CRM, customer engagement, account plans) Ensure a high level of product, therapeutic area and competitor knowledge of the commercial team – developing and executing training to ensure the team are best in class Development of KAM incentive plan Commercial budget management in close cooperation with finance operation Requirements Educational Requirements Degree qualified in Healthcare/Life Sciences (or equivalent) Must achieve and maintain ABPI qualification, including pass of ABPI examination (Advanced Professional Programme for Industry Personnel) Professional Work Experience Requirements Solid experience of working within the pharmaceutical/Biotech industry Solid experience and proven success in marketing/sales Solid experience in working with rare diseases or specialty care products and demonstrates a good understanding of the science behind the product Excellent project management skills and substantial project management experience Experience in successfully delivering projects and working effectively in cross functional teams Experience in rolling out projects with key stakeholders (physicians and other external parties) Expertise in commercial data tracking and ability to understand and interpret sales/market data Experience in managing senior KAM teams Good understanding of the health care system in UK and its various stakeholders Knowledge of commercial organizations, including related operating processes, policies, procedures and regulations Embrace the Amicus core values as a patient-centric global biotechnology company Experience And Skills Ability to build and execute innovative commercial strategy Strong project management skills with the ability to lead, prioritise and manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously Robust commercial acumen, ability to interpret, make decisions and respond to commercial insight and data Strong interpersonal and presentation skills Self-starter with positive can-do attitude and a hands-on mentality, results orientated In-depth Knowledge of UK pharmaceutical regulations (ABPI) as well as other industry rules and guidelines along with medical and clinical terminology Excellent planning, organization & business analysis skills Proven ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders Engaged integral team-player, thrives in a team environment Ability to manage a demanding schedule, and adapt and be flexible as needed with evolving priorities in a dynamic, expanding environment Other Skills/Attributes Demonstrated alignment with Amicus Mission Focus Behaviors Passion for rare disease and patient focused Travel Regular travel including; presence in the field/congresses/regional events required We respect and celebrate the diversity of our people, their backgrounds and experiences and provide equal opportunity for all.
