Our specialist private equity fund compliance team is responsible for the delivery of tax reporting for some of the largest and most complex funds in the UK. This diverse and interesting client base provides an excellent platform for prospective candidates to develop their skills and focus on a compliance role in a team that has grown significantly over the last few years.

As a senior manager in the team the role would encompass the following:
- Responsibility for the quality review of a portfolio of large and/or complex private equity fund clients;
- Responsibility for a client portfolio of private equity fund groups, delivering quality output directly to clients;
- Identify potential consulting projects that might arise from the compliance work;
- Working with other senior staff to manage the overall team (people, finances, technology, marketing);
- Responsibility for transitioning work into the private equity fund compliance team;
- Provide support and tax technical assistance to the team both in terms of technical skills and delivering quality output;
- Provide specialist support in the ongoing development of technology to support the private equity fund compliance work;
- Work alongside the advisory teams to take the private equity fund compliance offering to market.
Essential Skills And Experience
- Experienced reviewer of private equity fund compliance in the following areas: Private equity Partnership computations and returns; Investor Reporting;
- Experience with general partner corporate tax returns;
- Proven ability to deliver quality work directly to clients;
- Must possess ATT, CTA, AAT or ACA qualified (or an international equivalent);
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams both technically and in all aspects of quality delivery;
- Excellent interpersonal skills both oral and written.
- Experience in client management and relationship building.
