Role 1: Senior Fire Engineer

Flexible Hybrid Working | 2x Fridays off per month to promote employee work-life balance

About the role:

  • This is a fantastic chance for a Fire Engineer looking to develop into a senior role with a specialised fire safety consultancy working with a diverse range of clients and sectors throughout the UK.
  • Engage in a variety of diverse and innovative projects, including iconic landmark revitalisation, cutting-edge commercial complexes, sustainable residential development, high-risk industrial facilities, higher and further education, and essential healthcare facilities.
  • You will be responsible for preparing fee proposals when required (training provided), fire strategy reports, and necessary documents.
  • Reviewing architectural drawings to identify fire strategy risks and opportunities, as well as attending client meetings, conducting site surveys, calculating evacuation times, fire engineering calculations, computational evacuation modelling analysis, and communicating fire strategies to the design team and clients through various channels.

The ideal candidate would be an experienced, degree-qualified Fire Engineer/Senior Fire Engineer with an IFE Membership and a thorough understanding of ADB, BS 9999 and BS 9991.

Role 2: Senior / Principal / Associate Fire Engineer

  • This role is a crucial technical advisory role for the growth of the department of fire engineers and consultants, ensuring the delivery of professional, exceptional, and technically proficient services to their clients.

Role 3: Fire Engineer and Senior Fire Engineer

Work with CEng Director on the IFE Board for fast-track development to chartered status

About the role:

  • We currently have two fantastic opportunities for a Fire Engineer and a Senior Fire Engineer to work with a multi-faceted Fire Engineering Consultancy, engaging on a diverse range of sectors throughout the UK, including modern development, sustainable office buildings, historic residential complexes, state-of-the-art educational facilities, and architecturally stunning high rises.
  • You will be responsible for providing and supporting complex, sustainable Fire Engineering Design solutions, functionality, and architectural form throughout the design process.
  • Deliver their Fire Engineering Consultancy services, provide Fire Engineering knowledge, and work with clients and engineers to project manage fire engineering projects.
  • You will also be working with the CEng Director on the IFE Board for fast-track development to chartered status.

The ideal candidate will require a higher education qualification in engineering or a fire-safety related discipline and membership of a relevant professional body.
